The Core Black leather upper keeps the base controlled, while Cloud White patent leather cuts across the sidewalls and heel. Drama’s STA marks continue through the toe, airholes, charm and smaller branded details, giving the familiar Superstar II shape a different finish from every angle.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING
Drama Call describes the main upper as butter leather. The black leather covers most of the shoe, including the side panels, eyestay, and area around the heel. White patent leather forms the Three Stripes and heel panel, adding a brighter, glossier surface against the softer black base.
The moulded shell toe carries repeated STA impressions across the front. These stars are worked into the toe rather than added as a flat print. Star-stamped airholes continue the detail along the sides, keeping the graphic language consistent across the construction.
A ripstop tongue introduces a woven texture between the leather panels. Co-branded tongue details and Drama lettering beside the stripes identify the collaboration without covering the shoe in oversized logos.
The silver three-star charm hangs from the laces and adds the metallic note listed in the official colourway. It can stay on the shoe or come off when you want a cleaner front.
Underneath, the Superstar II uses a rubber outsole. Inside the box, you get double-sided insoles and three sets of laces. The pair arrives in a custom OG Met shoebox rather than standard adidas packaging.
WHY THE MATERIAL MIX MATTERS
A black and white trainer can fall flat when every panel has the same finish. This pair uses contrast in texture as heavily as contrast in colour.
The main leather upper provides the smooth black foundation. Patent leather across the Three Stripes and heel reflects more light, so the white sections stay visible even when the rest of the outfit is dark. Ripstop on the tongue breaks up the smoother surfaces with a tighter woven texture.
The shell toe adds another layer. It keeps the moulded front associated with the adidas Superstar II, then replaces a plain finish with repeated Drama Call stars. The star-stamped airholes carry the same mark onto the side panels instead of leaving the idea at the toe.
Silver appears sparingly through the three-star charm, matching the Silver Metallic element in the official colourway. The result stays restrained from a distance. Get closer, and the details start stacking up.
Leather, patent, ripstop, moulded rubber, and metal all appear on one pair, with each material handling a different part of the design.
HOW TO WEAR THEM
Keep the rest of the fit controlled and let the white patent stripes cut through.
Start with the Black STA Crew. Its black base and embroidered star keep the branding connected without competing with the trainers. Add the Regular Degular Green Wash Denim when you want some colour between the top and the shoe. The regular fit gives the Superstar II enough room to stay visible below the hem.
For a full black base, wear them with Black STA Socks and darker denim or jorts.
